FULL DAY TROUT FLY FISHING TRIP NEAR LIMA
GO UP INTO THE ANDES MOUNTAINS OF LIMA AND FISH MANY TROUTS IN ONLY ONE DAY
INFORMATION:
The Andes Mountains surrounding Lima are really near to the coast line, you can go to more than 14,000 feet above sea level in just a three hour drive from downtown. We have many valleys in Lima, Rimac, Cañete, Santa Eulalia, Chancay Mala etc, and all of them have a good population of rainbow trout. You will be able to admire the beautiful natural landscapes and great biodiversity where you can find a diverse variety of birds that include the Andean Condor, Flamingos and Huashuas (Andean Goose), and many mammals such as the Vizcacha, Deer and Andean Foxes, but mainly rainbow trout for sportfishing. It´s also possible to see during the entire journey many different archaeological sites.
THE EXPERIENCE:
We will depart from your chosen accomodation in Lima, where our journey to the Andes begins, make a 3 hour drive aprox and start our fishing day.This trip is for fly fishing but we can use spinning equipment too. You will be fishing on different spots as we go up and down along the river looking for the best spots. At lunch we will do a picnic next to the river, relax and start fishing our way back to the coast arriving to Lima aprox 7pm.

EQUIPMENT:
This trip is for spinning or fly fishing technique. Feel free to bring your own rod, reel and equipment of your choice if not we will share you our own.

Tips
IMPORTANT:
Bring winter clothes, it can get really cold at night in the andes, but also pretty hot during the day so do not forget your sunblock, hat or cap.

5.00 am: Pick up from the hotel in Lima
8.00 pm: Arrival to the firstfishing spot
1.00 pm: Picnic Lunch
4.00 pm: Start our way back to Lima
7.00 pm: Arrival to destination in Lima
