About the Amazon Private Lake in Pucallpa
The city of Pucallpa si located at 40-minute flight from Lima, in the East to North-Central of Peru near the Ucayali River in the Amazonian plain at 154 m.a.s.l. This protected lagoon is a mirror of water of 15 hectares in the middle of 100 hectares of private land, where you can see monkeys, deer, capybara, armadillos, otters, and many wild birds. Today's lagoon originated from a natural water source (aguajal) and natural pipes that fill the lagoon naturally in the rainy season, over the years it was decided to dam the water mirror to promote sport fishing in the region and protect the species in the area.
The Experience
We will pick you up early in the morning at the Pucallpa airport and make a 40-minute trip in a privet transport through the city and fields to finally arrive to a comfortable apartment next to the lagoon where we will stay the next couple of days. We will be fishing around the lagoon from the shores and/or in boats to be able to cover different areas and capture as many species as we can.

This trip is for Fly Fishing and casting technique. Feel free to bring your own rod, reel and equipment of your choice.

Important
Tips and Flight ticket
Bring long sleeves, pants, shorts, polo shirts, change clothes, hats, sunglasses, rain jacket, it is usually quite hot but the weather can change quickly in the jungle. Do not forget repellent (many mosquitoes) and sunscreen.
ITINERARY
Day 1:
Pick up from Pucallpa Airport and travel directly to the fishing area to have lunch with the lake view and fish all afternoon until its time to go to the hotel.
Day 2
Early breakfast at hotel and travel to the lagoon to fish all day, barbecue lunch day.
Day 3
Early pick up and fish all morning until it is time to go to the airport usually mid day
