3 Days and 2 Nights Desert Camping Fishing Experience in Paracas Resevre

About the Paracas Desert

Paracas National Reserve, located at three hour drive south from Lima, it’s known for its breathtaking, massive desert landscapes, its beautiful sea life and wild biodiversity. Paracas is home to many sealions, penguins, dolphins, flamingos, a huge variety o sea birds, and the historical and cultural site of the Paracas people, an ancient society existing between approximately 800 BCE and 100 BCE.

The Experience

We will depart form your choosen accommodation in Paracas Bay before the first light of the day and travel for 2 hours through the desert with a 4x4 wheel vehicle (no Phone or Internet signal at this point), here you will have a true Off Road experience until we arrive to the costal line. You will be able to really see and feel the nature of this uninhabited part of the world, fishing alone with no tourists in many kilometers around. Here you will also learn how to make a delicious traditional ceviche from your freshly caught fish your other fishing adventures.

The Equipment

This trip is for spinning and surfcasting shore fishing (wader is needed). Feel free to bring your own rod, reel and equipment of your choice, if not we can rent you.

Corvina (Cilus Gilberti), Lenguado (paralichthys adspersus), Tramboyo (Labrisomus philippi), Chita (Anisotermus scapularis), Cabrilla (Paralabrax humeralis), Pintadilla (Cheilodactylus variegatus), Lorna (Sciaena deliciosa).

Tips and accommodations in Lima

Bring winter clothes, it can get really cold at night in the andes, but also pretty hot during the day so do not forget your sunblock, hat or cap.  

ITINERARY

Day 1:

Early Pickup and start our offroad trip into the Paracas Desert, arrive for a sunrise breakfast and start fishing all day.

Day 2

Wake up at campsite and start fishing all day around many km of beaches in the middle of the Paracas desert.

Day 3

Early morning fishing, pick up camp, lunch, and start our offroad trip back to civilization.
